Mission Statement:

Black Ladies International, Incorporated is a non-profit organization of women committed to love, sisterhood, and service. We are dedicated to developing the potential of women and girls through our 6 Pillars of Success. Our purpose is to unify women and girls of color, empower them with the tools to achieve their dreams, and break down barriers that hold them captive from reaching their full potential. This is accomplished by strengthening the bonds between women and girls, partnering with our community, and promoting our values of Love, Sisterhood, Service, and Always be a Lady.

Core Values:

Love – Love yourself, the world, and those around you. Take pride in yourself. Know that you were beautifully made. With Love comes Respect. Respect yourself, Respect others, and Respect the Earth.
Sisterhood– We support healthy relationships by unifying with other women and girls to strengthen, encourage, support, inspire, empower, and uplift one another. We strive to create unbreakable bonds and life-long friendships.
Service – We are committed to creating change in our community and impacting the world, through our service to others and commitment to excellence.

…and Always be a Lady
It’s not just a slogan. It’s a way of life. We believe in the embodiment of being a lady. What does it mean to be a lady? A lady is elegant. She exemplifies class and grace. She holds herself and others in a high esteem. She is respectful of herself and others and is kind with her word. This is exemplified by her actions and behavior, her dress and demeanor. A lady is a woman of accomplishment and poise. She is resilient and a conqueror in life. She knows it is not her dress size or the money she possesses, for beauty and wealth can be fleeting, but her inner character is the measure by which she will be judged.
